How it works
This tool uses the Web Speech API built into modern browsers. The voices come from your device or browser, so the list and quality vary between Chrome, Edge, Safari and Firefox and between phones and computers. Speed and pitch change how the voice sounds. The text stays on your device.
It reads aloud but does not create an audio file. To save audio, use your device’s recording features.

Paste a paragraph, pick an English voice, set the speed to 1.2 and press Speak to listen at a slightly faster pace.

Why are there no voices?
Some browsers load voices after a moment. Refresh, or check your device’s language settings.
Can I download the audio?
No. The browser speaks the text but does not provide a file.
