How the date is worked out
In Western Christianity, Easter Sunday is the first Sunday after the first full moon on or after 21 March, using a fixed set of tables for the moon. That is why Easter can fall anywhere from 22 March to 25 April. Eastern Orthodox churches use a different calendar and usually celebrate on a different date. Good Friday is two days before Easter Sunday and Easter Monday is the day after.
