How it works
The calculator subtracts the earlier date from the later one and divides by the number of milliseconds in a day. If you choose to include the end date, one day is added. Weekdays count Monday to Friday and do not remove public holidays. Months and years are approximate, using 30.4375 days per month and 365.25 days per year.
Example
From 1 October to 31 October is 30 days, or 4 weeks and 2 days. If you count both the first and last day, it is 31 days.
Frequently asked questions
Does it count the start date?
It counts the days after the start date. Choose to include the end date if you want to count both the first and last day.
Does it remove public holidays?
No. Weekdays are Monday to Friday only.
Does it handle leap years?
Yes. It uses real calendar dates.
