How it works
One inch is exactly 2.54 cm and one foot is 12 inches (30.48 cm). To convert centimeters, divide by 2.54 to get total inches, then divide by 12 for whole feet. The remainder is the inches. To go the other way, cm = (feet × 12 + inches) × 2.54.
